Y’all already know all about macaroni and cheese, right? Pasta, cheese, creamy, delicious… you know the drill. So I’m going to use this space to propose an idea. What if Inman started a movement? A love-your-neighbor-with-casserole movement? Lord knows the world could use a little more love right now. Here’s how it works: You show up at the door of a friend or neighbor or church member or even a stranger, with a frozen casserole. When they answer, tell them good morning or hi or howdy or whatever you do. And then inform them with a smile, “You’ve been casserole-ed!” Hand over the macaroni and cheese goods, with heating instructions, tell that surprised and delighted person to have a good one. And head on your merry way. If they ask “But…why?!” just shrug and tell them to pass the love along.
