Play it safe and keep a Baked Spaghetti Casserole stocked in the freezer to please even the pickiest eaters. For example, my two year old son is one picky eater. He doesn’t like food to touch on the plate, he doesn’t like to try new foods, he doesn’t like foods that start with M. Or at least that’s how it feels! I do backflips sometimes just trying to figure out what to feed the little guy.
But you know what he’ll always eat, no matter what? Spaghetti. Or “‘ghetti,” as he calls it. In fact, he even loves baked spaghetti casserole so much that he’s taken to asking new people he meets, “You like ‘ghetti?” as though it’s a mark of good character to appreciate pasta with cheesy meat sauce. And you know what? Maybe he’s got a point. Spaghetti noodles, cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, baked in our sweet and tangy meat sauce – if you like that, you’ve got to have your priorities in order, right? Stock your freezer and be sure to please your crowd – even the Seasame Street set.
